Instructor Biography:  Megan Pitcher is a diversely talented artist with experience in modern dance, musical theater choreography and dance for film. Pitcher is the founder and artistic director of MegLouise Dance, a Cleveland based performance company.  Her choreography has been presented through Theater West in Moscow, Junction Arts Festival in Toronto, DUMBO Dance Festival in New York, Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland, Ohio Dance Festival, Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, Cuyahoga Community College, Stage Left Theater, Musgegon Civic Theater and the Miss Ohio Pageant.  Pitcher teaches modern, jazz, ballet, hip hop, improv, partnering and choreography for Cuyahoga Community College, Beck Center and Cleveland Ballet Conservatory.  She has worked as a guest artist with Shaker Heights Ensemble Program, Hathaway Brown, Ohio State University Mansfield, NASA Glen Research Center, Orange High School, Dancing Wheels, Ohio Dance Theater
 and Morrison Dance.  Pitcher holds a BFA in modern dance choreography with honors from Ohio University.  She received additional training through Movement Research (NYC), Dance New Amsterdam (NYC), Bates Dance Festival (ME) and Summer Stages (MA).
