Stagecrafters announces its first Teen Crafter Academy production of the
2009-10 season.

 

Mark your calendars.

 

Jekyll & Hyde auditions to be held Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 pm.

Callbacks - Tuesday, September 15th 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Performances Nov 20, 21 & 22.

 

Details:

*   Auditions are open to students entering 8th - 12th grade in any
school district.  
*   Those auditioning should prepare 32 measures (about 1 minute) of a
musical theatre song in the style of the show. 
*   An accompanist will be provided and CD/Tape accompaniment trax are
permitted.  
*   A dance audition will also be part of the process, so bring
comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes (tennis or jazz). 
*   Auditions will take place at the Pepper Pike Learning Center, on the
Orange City Schools campus 32000 Chagrin Blvd, Pepper Pike, OH 44124 
*   Please arrive promptly at 2:00pm.  

Please bring your theatrical resume as well as a complete list of rehearsal
conflicts with you to auditions.  Headshots are welcome but not required.

 

Email will be our primary method of communication.  So be sure to write your
email clearly on all forms. 

 

Note:  If you are cast in the show -  playbill ad and ticket sales, as well
as participation and costume fees will be required.  

 

A general idea of rehearsals will be:

Sundays (4:00 - 8:00) - blocking and/or choreography

Mondays (5:30 - 8:30) - blocking and/or choreography

Tuesday Evenings - Music rehearsals

Thursday Evenings - Music, blocking, or choreography

We will be having block rehearsal scheduling, which means that you will only
be called to rehearsals during times when you will be actively participating
in the rehearsal.  You will not be called to a rehearsal and then just sit
around waiting.  You will not be called to every rehearsal.  We will be very
mindful of your time.
