Hi Everybody,
Most subscribers (currently 5,139) of NEohioPAL only open postings that are
of personal interest, routinely deleting 90%.  They make those decisions by
looking at your subject line - so that is the most important part of your
message.

Also, the more messages people get, the more likely that they will delete
them without opening. It may seem that sending out the same message over and
over again within a one week period will give you better results, but from
the feedback I have received over the years, it tends to annoy people.

So a good rule of thumb is send out a message only once a week, and write a
detailed subject line that includes your producing organization and event,
as well as any other eye catching details that tell as much of your story as
possible.
