[NEohioPAL] Performance: "Making Waves" of Sacred Space

Making Waves was created by Kay Eaton and CeCe Miller of Sacred Space.  Directed by Sandi Harris, Making Waves will be staged at  West Side Ecumenical Ministry’s Reinberger Auditorium Theater at  5209 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102.  The theater is handicapped accessible and has free, secure parking.
 
The Spirit of Life dancers will be an integral part of telling the story of five women ministers who have served their churches and communities in Northeast Ohio. Original music and song deepens and enriches the story telling.  
 
Actor Debra Rose tells the story of Rev. Georgina Thornton, Pastor, St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Cleveland;
Actor Cherie Dillon tells the story of Bishop Elizabeth Eaton of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.(ELCA);
Actor Candace Russell, narrates the story of  Rev. Dagmar Celeste,  Roman Catholic WomanPriest;
Georgia Reash,  for Rev. Kathryn Huey, United Church of Christ;
Actor Angie DePalma, for Rev. Dr. Hallie Francies Chirstian, Methodist.
 
“Making Waves” scripted by Racheryl McCreary of Cleveland, explores the beauty, wisdom and complexity these valiant women experience as they answer the pull toward ministry in their struggle for self determination.  Making Waves is about women breaking through the ‘stained glass ceiling’ and overcoming the historic barriers that challenge their journey.  This production celebrates the 20th anniversary of Sacred Space, a woman’s collective committed to personal and spiritual growth. Miller and Eaton have produced many theatrical productions honoring contemporary and historical women.  
 
Performance dates are:
   Saturday, September 12, at 8 pm; Sunday,  September 13, at 2 pm; Saturday, September 19, at 8 pm.
 
General admission $15.  Student/senior tickets $12.  Please send your check with the number of tickets ordered and performance dates to:Sacred Space, 6211 Brownfield Drive, Cleveland, Ohioi 44129.  Tickets will be held at the box office for the requested performance. Please list your phone number in the event the performance you request is filled, we will notify you of what is available.
