[NEohioPAL] Audition for "Death to the Dead" Sept 13th

DEATH OF THE DEAD
Zombie / Action / Comedy (think The Karate Kid meets Night of the
Living Dead)


After a bus load of (bad karate school) students on their way to a karate
tournament runs off the road after one of the passengers roundhouse kicks
the driver for fun, the bus lands in a waste fill, full of toxic chemicals
that bring the students back to life
 as ass kicking zombies. But they wreak
havoc on the wrong town when they karate chop and zombie chomp their way
into Darla’s neighborhood.  She's an unattractive, uncoordinated nerd
(beginner karate student who can't do anything right) who becomes an ass
whooping babe with the help of a magic karate belt from her Grand Master
(karate teacher).
 
Attached is director Gary King whose film New York Lately was voted
#2 Indie of 2008 by Associate's Content "Best Independent Movie" list
Right behind Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire.

Darla - Lead character, looking 17 (over 18), Martial Arts training and / or
gymnastics training.

Females - 18 to 45 with Martial Arts training and / or gymnastics training
Males - 18 to 45 with Martial Arts training  and / or gymnastics training

Dress to perform skill level.

To be filmed in the Cleveland / Westlake area. Main roles are paid. Small
stipend for minor roles.

Audition Sunday Sept. 13th at 1 PM. Westlake Martial Arts, 27321 Detroit
Road (near Dover Center Road)
Westlake, Ohio 44145...about a mile from Crocker Park, 

Two other short films will be there casting for an identical lead female as
the one "Death to the Dead" needs.
