Canton First Friday Swing Dances are scheduled for the following dates  
at the Metropolitan Centre Grand Ballroom!

8-9 PM Lesson with Valerie Salstrom and friends from Get Hep Swing
9PM-12AM Social dancing to the live band

Bands for each event are as follows:
Friday October 2--Dukes of Wail
Friday November 6--Blue Lunch
Friday December 4--Hepcat Revival
Friday January 8--Boilermaker Jazz Band

$10 for lesson/dance
$8 Students (any and all - ID requested)

Valerie is a fantastic, infectious and fun teacher. She's the 2008  
International Balboa Champion, 2004 American Lindy Hop Champion, 2004  
& 2006 National Jitterbug Championships & Balboa Champion.

No dance experience required! You do NOT have to bring a dance  
partner! Everyone is welcome!

Get Hep Swing is hosting Sunday Swing Sessions at the Beachland  
Ballroom. Here's the information about it:

What are they?
A combination of practice and social dance sessions open to dancers of  
all levels! Beginners are welcome! Sunday Swing Sessions begin with a  
half-hour mystery "taster" lesson taught by a GHS or guest instructor.  
Music of varying, but easy tempos will be provided by one of our great  
DJs for you to practice your Charleston, Balboa, or Lindy Hop.

When:
Nearly every Sunday from 12 PM to 3 PM (check out GetHepSwing.com for  
announcements/schedule)

How much does it cost?
All of this for only $5.00!

Extras!
Enjoy brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Beachland Tavern (sorry, brunch  
is not included in the cost of the session)
GHS instructors on hand to answer your questions.
