North Canton Playhouse brings
Monster in the Closet
to the Youth Theatre Stage Oct. 8-18

CANTON, OH (Sept. 26, 2009) – North Canton Playhouse will proudly present Monster in the Closet from Oct. 8 through 18 at the Youth Theatre, located at 1210 S. Main St. in North Canton.

In Monster in the Closet, Emily has a big problem. Not only is she sent to bed just as she reaches the highest level of her new video game, but there's a monster in her closet! Emily recruits some of her friends to help capture the monster. Meanwhile, Murray, the closet monster, doesn't mean any harm—he only wants to play Emily's new video game. But when Murray's boss, the Dream King, hears Murray’s been goofing off on the job, Murray winds up on probation. After all, every monster knows that when a child is born, a monster is assigned to watch over her—not to play with her toys and especially not to get caught in the act!

Find out what happens when Emily hosts a sleepover to try to capture Murray and discover a myriad of other wonderfully entertaining characters. Emily's monster problem brings humor, a bit of ingenuity, and a little magic to this charming and delightful family show.

Monster in the Closet is a Cochran Productions performance, directed by Brenton Cochran. Shows will be performed Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. (Please take note that there will be no shows on Saturday, October 10th.)
