The Youngstown Playhouse invites all area theatre g-ers to join them in having a "bloody good evening," as they present the classic thriller, DRACULA, weekends, October 30 -November 1, and November 6 -8. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m.

Based on the famous Bram Stoker novel, DRACULA is the story of young Lucy Seward, who has been struck with a mysterious illness.

When a specialist, Dr. Van Helsig is called to the family home, he suspects that Lucy's condition may have something to do with a certain, mysterious, Count Dracula!



The Playhouse production features AlanMcCreary, who is reprising his role (first performed on the Playhouse stage in 2002)as the fabled Count. Others in the cast include Hannah Gillespie, Terry Shears, Tom Hathhorn, Jason Green, Matt DiBattiste, Dana Ferguson and Michael McGrail. DRACULA is directed by Terri A. Wilkes. Jim Lybarger is Set Designer, Cherie Stebner is Costumer. John Pecano assists in set construction and Dorene White serves as Stage Manager.



Ticket prices?for DRACULA are $15 for regular admission and $12 for seniors and students. Special rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Reservations may be made by calling the box office at (330) 788-8739. The opening night audience is invited to attend a "Bloody Mary" reception, honoring the cast and crew after the show.
