Commemorate Veteran's Day with two special programs by Eden Valley – 

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 1p.m.: ORDINARY PEOPLE IN ORDINARY TIMES: STORIES OF WWII will be presented for the Oberlin AARP #395 at the New Russia Township Hall; 46268 Butternut Ridge Rd in Oberlin. This storytelling program includes stories of the Home Front and the Front Lines and the performance is FREE and open to the public. For more information call 440-967-3466.

*Monday, November 16, 2009, 7p.m.: MEET MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE (played by Alisa Riccardi) at the Renaissance Retirement Community; 26376 John Rd. in Olmsted Township Ohio and hear her stories of life on the Front Lines during WWII.  Margaret, who started her career in Cleveland, Ohio, was the first accredited female war correspondent and spent time in Moscow, on a troop ship off Africa and in Italy during the war.
