Frederick Knott’s suspense thriller, Wait Until Dark, introduces us to Susy Hendrix, a woman recently blinded and struggling to adapt.  A sinister con man, Roat, and his two accomplices have traced the location of a mysterious doll to the Greenwich Village apartment where Susy lives with her husband, Sam. 
 
It seems that Sam has been persuaded by a strange woman to transport the doll across the Canadian border, unaware that it contains something that people are willing to kill for. While Sam is away, Roat weaves a deadly web of deception around Susy that climaxes in a heart-pounding game of cat and mouse.

The play is directed by Chuck Polifiaco and assistant director Nancy Marusek, our production features Mary Manos-Mitchem as Susy Hendrix. Jake Schafer portrays Roat, joined by Ben Gibson as Mike Talmann, Mike Sonby as Carlino and Elizabeth Hoffman as Gloria. The cast is rounded out with Katie Sonby, Joe McIntyre and Garion Bender.
An undisputed Broadway hit (and later a successful movie), Wait Until Dark was described by the New York Post as “a first-rate shocker…the suspense drama we’ve long awaited.”
Wait Until Dark, starring Mary Manos-Mitchem and Jake Schafer, has been held over the remaining dates are November 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 8 PM.
