Ethos Percussion Group is an exciting contemporary music quartet that
integrates global instruments and playing styles into percussion
chamber music. Their music features traditional influences from
India, West Africa and the Middle East, and works by John Cage,
Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Frank Zappa. The group’s rousing
performance concludes with the heralded piece Missa Luba, a mass in
the Congolese (Zairian) style with guest choir the Prayer Warriors,
in a call-and-response style.

achieving 4th Prize in the Marguerite Long International Piano
Competition in Paris. He also won 1st Prize in the 2009 International
Russian music competition in San José, California. Hear this emerging
artist perform in the grand and inspiring First Baptist Church of
Greater Cleveland.
