*WILLIAM CLARENCE MARSHALL III REHEARSES FOR SOLON PHILHARMONIC’S OPENING
CONCERT*

            Bass-baritone William Clarence Marshall III is being led by the
skillful hand of Greg Bassett, conductor of the Solon Philharmonic Orchestra
on Sunday, November 22 at 3:00 pm at Solon Center for the Arts. He will
perform “A Lincoln Portrait” and “Old American Songs” by the renowned
American composer, Aaron Copland.  SPO’s opening concert of the 2009-2010
Season, entitled ‘Portraits of Musical Americana’, is a tribute to music
written by American composers.



            Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for Seniors and students.  All
seating is reserved.  The performance is in the Calvetta Bros. Floor Show
Theater at Solon Center for the Arts located at 6315 SOM Center Road. To
