* “*Joseph” is performed by families, for families!

For 26 years Beachwood Community Theatre has provided the opportunity for
seasoned, adult performers to share the stage with their children and young
actors to include their parents in the spot light. It has also been a
tradition for the cast of each production to give back to the
community. Koslen-Freireich
believes that when a group of people join together for a common goal such as
mounting a production, why not use this opportunity to also help others. This
holiday season the cast will be assisting Rainbow Babies & Children’s
Hospital with their “Rainbow North Pole Project”. Last year there were over
100 little patients who spent the holidays at Rainbow. This year, they are
predicting many more. The hospital has provided Koslen-Freireich with a
wish list which the cast hopes to complete. The list will be posted for
audience members to assist with as well. The items will be collected at
every performance. The cast also hoped to sing for the children but due to
the H1N1 visitors are prohibited. The cast plans to send a DVD of the show
in early December. Hospital representative Marge Galla expects that the
vibrant colors & love from the cast of Joseph will extend to their Rainbow
and make the holidays a little more special for their young patients.
