The Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory (FPAC) is looking to audition the
best teenaged guitarists, bassists, and keyboard players in Cleveland for
its' upcoming Ohio premiere of the musical "Thirteen."

The production opens February 18, 2010 and closes on February 28, 2010.
Specific dates and times will be forwarded on to any potential musicians.

This is a rock/musical theater score by composer Jason Robert Brown. The
music is incredibly difficult, so we are looking for musicians with the
following skills:

1) GUITARISTS: Must be able to read music exceptionally well -- not just
chords, but difficult picking patterns and melody lines; Must be familiar
with different styles of music (reggae, pop, rock, funk, etc.); Must be
comfortable playing both acoustic and electric guitars; Strong improv
skills; Must own their own gear.

2) BASSISTS: Must be able to read music exceptionally well; Must be
familiar with different styles of music (reggae, pop, rock, funk, etc.);
Should be able to play slap-bass very well; Strong improv skills; Must own
their own gear.

3) KEYBOARDISTS: Must be able to read music exceptionally well -- not just
chords, but difficult solo lines as well; Must be familiar with different
styles of music (reggae, pop, rock, funk, jazz, etc.); Improv skills are an
absolute must; Would be helpful if they owned their own gear, but this isn't
required.

We need to hire 2 guitarsts, 1 bassist, and 1 keybaord player. THIS IS A
PAYING GIG!!!

If you (or someone you know) is a phenomenal teenaged musician who fits the
above criteria, please respond to this message ASAP.
