Nominations Open for COSE Arts Business and Innovation Awards

The COSE Arts Network is now accepting nominations for the 3rd Annual COSE Arts Business and Innovation Awards (ABIs).  The awards recognize a unique point of intersection between the art and business worlds, one where artists focus on business issues and small business owners support the arts community. Nominations will be accepted now through March 2, 2010.

Winners and finalists will be recognized in four categories:  Individual Artist, Arts Business, Young Arts Entrepreneur and Arts and Culture Community Champion.  The awards will be presented at the Arts Business and Innovation Awards ceremony on April 28, 2010.

Winners will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 cash prize, in-kind business services, a free year of COSE membership, promotional and visibility opportunities through COSE and an original piece of commissioned art work.  Each of these services will help to support the growth and prosperity of arts based businesses in Northeast Ohio.



Both self applications and peer nominations of artists and businesses are being accepted. Interested parties may log on to the COSE Arts Network web site at http://www.cosearts.org to access application forms and additional information.
