[NEohioPAL] "Doubt" Auditions at Coach House

Coach House Theatre will be holding open-call auditions for Doubt, A
Parable, by John Patrick Shanley, on Sunday, February 7 at 6pm, and Monday,
February 8 at 7pm.  

Actors please be prepared to read from the script.

 

Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, a nun has grave concerns about a
male colleague.  Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play, to be directed
by Artistic Director Nancy Cates.

 

Roles available: 1 man, 2 women

 

Father Flynn:  late 20's/early 30's, a vibrant, energetic and charming young
priest

Sister James:  20's, an idealistic and trusting nun

Mrs. Muller:  30's, a strong, African-American mother

 

(The remaining role, Sister Aloysius, is already cast.)

 

Run dates are March 25 through April 11, 2010, Thursdays, Fridays and
Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2:30 pm.  No performance on Easter Sunday.  

 

Coach House is a community theatre, and performers, although well-loved, are
not paid.
