Solon Center for the Arts is proud to present “Little Women:
Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy”, the first of two upcoming Spotlight Youth Theater
productions. This adaptation, based on the original novel by Louis May
Alcott and written by Sandra Fenichel Asher, will open on the SCA stage on
March 4.

“Little Women: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy” provides a window into the
lives of the March sisters as they struggle to keep family life afloat while
their father is away serving in the Civil War. Even as hardship, illness and
sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl will strive to find her true
self. Through this sprightly adaptation, which is based on the first volume
of Ms. Alcott’s three part series, audiences will witness the hard work and
perseverance that aides these young ladies in becoming little women.

Making her premiere as an SCA stage director, Christine A.
Madden leads the cast of fifth through eighth grade students including: Zak
Carson, Brett Castro, Nathan Chernomorets, Anna Edelman, Allison Halperin,
Brittany Holub, Megan Hurwitz, Matthew Lohiser, Brooke Pohle, Rachel
Prokopius, Maya Rizkala, Annie-Ruth Roman, Danielle Stanek, Hannah Tucker,
Hannah Wakefield and Alison Wright.

Performances will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 7:00 pm,
Friday, March 5 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, March 6 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm in
the Calvetta Bros. Floor Show Theater at Solon Center for the Arts. Come
support the talented youth of Solon and surrounding communities by
experiencing this great American Classic live on stage.

Solon Center for the Arts is located at 6315 SOM Center Road. To
purchase tickets or for more information, call SCA at (440) 337-1400.
