"One Acts" Plays Two Dates at G. B. Community Theatre in Ashtabula

G. B. Community Theatre will present the special event production "One
Acts," a collection of one-act plays on Friday, March 5 at 8 p.m. and
Sunday March 7 at 2 p.m. Performances will be held in the Ashtabula Arts
Center's upper gallery.

This is the third year that the Ashtabula Arts Center has produced a series
of "One Acts." This year's productions will include 6 plays written by two
local playwrights, Clay Nielsen of Madison and Larry Gasch of Conneaut. The
plays include a mix of both comedy and drama and, from one show to the next,
the audience will see actors transform from one character to someone
completely different.

The shows will be directed by Larry Gasch of Conneaut, Melissa Nielsen of
Madison, and Mark Pendleton of Ashtabula. Included in the casts are Nick
Cusano, Larry Gasch, Dane Gustafson, Cathy Lawson, Mandi Lewis, Michael
Mooney, Phil Mullet, Fred Robsel, Devon Shriver and Caitlyn Wentz.

Special event pricing is $12 patrons, $10 adults and $9 seniors/students. A
$2 per ticket discount is available for those purchasing tickets in advance.
Tickets can be purchased by calling (440) 964-3396. The Ashtabula Arts
Center is located at 2928 West 13th St. in Ashtabula. Parking is free.

"One Acts" is intended for mature audiences.

The Arts Center is funded in part by the Ohio Arts Council.
