Spotlight Youth Theater   (grades 5 - 8)
SCA ONE ACT FESTIVAL
The SCA One Act Festival is the result of SCA’s 2nd Annual Playwriting
Competition. This production will feature three original one act plays
written by young playwrights. These new works will be performed by SCA’s
talented and rapidly growing group of Spotlight Youth Theater students.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of history by performing a completely
original piece this Spring.

• Monologue Auditions: *Wednesday, April 7 (4:30 pm - 7:30 pm) **Students
should prepare a 1 - minute monologue. Auditions by appointment only.

• Cast List Posted: *Friday, April 9 (3:30 pm)
*

• Mandatory Parent Meeting: *Wednesday, April 14 (7:30 pm)**Students will
rehearse prior to meeting
**

• Rehearsals: *Wednesdays, April 14 - May 19 (5:45 pm - 7:45 pm) and
Saturdays, April 17 - May 22 (11:30 am - 2:30 pm)

• *Mandatory Tech Week: *May 25 and May 26 (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

• Dress Rehearsal: *Thursday, May 27 (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)
*

• Performance: *Friday, May 28 (7:00 pm) **Students called at 5:30 pm

• Production Fee: *$100.00 **Fee must be paid by Wednesday, April 14.*
