Are you a high school or college student looking for summer employment in
the arts? Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio is currently seeking
applications for the following positions in the Artworks 2010 summer
program:

 

.         ArtWorks Apprentices - for high school students entering 10th,
11th, or 12th grade 

.         Assistant Teaching Artists - for students entering their 1st, 2nd,
or 3rd year of higher education 

.         Site Coordinators - for students entering their senior year of
undergraduate work or current graduate students

 

ArtWorks is an arts-based job training program for area high school students
designed to provide training in the arts while developing skills for the
workplace. For six weeks during the summer, Apprentices work under the
guidance of Master & Assistant Teaching Artists to create works of art in a
variety of disciplines. The ArtWorks sites (Wade Oval & Tri-C's Metro
Campus) are overseen by two Site Coordinators.

The deadline for ALL applications is Friday, March 26 at 4:00PM. This is a
strict deadline and ALL application materials must be received in the Young
Audiences office by the deadline or applicants will be placed on a waiting
list. Applications can be dropped off at the Young Audiences office
in-person OR materials can be scanned and e-mailed to Kristan at yaneo.org.
Faxing application materials is acceptable, but not recommended.
