*You asked for it - you got it!*

Recently, three west side teens, Jake Watkin, Douglas Puskas and Hannah
Watson created a Facebook page petitioning Fairmount Center to bring FPAC's
Summer Training to the west side:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=346964253690&ref=ts

*Here is an open letter to the 208 people who have joined that Facebook
page, as well as anybody else who is interested in participating in our
program on the west side.*

I am happy to report that we have finalized an agreement with Magnificat
High School to bring FPAC's Summer Training and a production to you THIS
SUMMER !

Fairmount Center is ready to go ahead, but before we sign the contract with
Magnificat, we need to hear back whether you will attend this summer.

If I hear from a sizable percentage, we will definitely be going ahead!!

To help you and your parents make a decision, here is what we would be
offering this summer and what the tuition would be ...

*PROFESSIONAL TRAINING WORKSHOP "THE CORE"*
- for students entering 6th - 12th gr, college students and adults
- 2 - three week sessions: June 21 - July 9 AND July 12 - 30. Mondays -
Fridays, 10:00am - 4:30pm
- Tuition = $750 per three week session
- more info about "the core" is here:
http://www.fairmountcenter.org/protraining.html#core

*PRODUCTION WORKSHOP*
- for students entering 1st - 6th gr.
- half or full day options
- 1 session - July 12 - 30, Mondays - Fridays, 10:00am - 1:45pm (half day)
OR 10:00am - 4:30pm (full day).
- Tuition = $620 - full day; $365 - half day
- more info about "production workshop" is here:
http://www.fairmountcenter.org/production.html

*FPAC PRESENTS!*
- for students entering grades 3 - college.
- you must participate in one three week session of "the core" OR the
"production workshop" to be eligible to be in this production.

*Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat*
by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice

*Director - Fred Sternfeld *
(director of FPAC's recent productions of Into the Woods and Joseph...)

*Choreographer - Sarah Clare*
(choreographer of FPAC's recent production of Joseph..., director /
choreographer of this summer's production of Honk Jr.)

*Associate Director / Choreographer - Sean Szaller *
(director of FPAC's recent productions of 13 and Rent: Student Edition)

- Production dates are August 5, 6, 7 & 8. (There is also a possibility
they will be moved earlier to July 23, 24 and 25 - we'll know in a few
weeks)
- The show will rehearse weekdays in the early evening hours, and some
weekend afternoons and/or evenings starting around June 26.
- Auditions will be the weekend of May 8.
- Tuition = $195.

*If I hear back from enough of you BY MONDAY, APRIL 5*, we will go ahead and
schedule auditions for the Pro Training "the core" and Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in early May. Entry into the training program
is by audition / interview, which is mostly about appropriate class
placement.

A decision will be made about whether we are going ahead this summer at
Magnificat at NOON ON APRIL 5. If we don't go ahead this summer, we will
definitely be starting up FPAC West in 2011.

So please REPLY and let me know your thoughts, where you stand, and if you
have any questions!

Warm Regards,
