Brecksville Theater On The Square will be presenting the classic musical Gypsy April 30th-May16th.
Gypsy is the ultimate story about an aggressive stage mother. Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip accross America during the 1920's, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was being born. Jule Styne's music and Stephen Sondheim's lyrics include the timeless classics Let Me Entertain You, All I Need Is the Girl, Everything's Coming Up Roses, and many more! It all adds up to a gripping story of one of the most frightening aspects of show business.
Directed by Geoffrey Short and music directed by Georgiann Bodle, the dynamic cast features 19 of the finest local theater actors.
Performances are at the Brecksville Old Town Hall, April 30th-May16th (Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 2:00). The Old Town Hall is located at the corner of State Routes 21 and 82, and is handicapped accessible.
Tickets are $12, and $10 for seniors and students (through high school). Group rates are also available.
