Fine Tuning Moves to "New York"

Fine Tuning, a Readers Theater program featuring new works by local writers,
will resume this month in Downtown Chardon, Ohio. Our new locale will be the
New York Deli, which is located on the South East corner of Wilson Mills
Road and Water Street. Actors will be putting new works "on their feet"
every fourth Monday from spring through December. These free programs start
at 7 p.m. and end before 10 p.m.

The April program will feature a springtime fable, The Lamb - a one-act play
with original music. The script is by Joanne Durante; original music by
Julie Childers and Nicky Bucur. Also on the program is a poem by Grace
Butcher, titled Tenacity and a reading from a novel-in-progress, Pre-Dent,
by Laurel Beth Gans.

The Fine Tuning program format allows writers to hear their works read by
actors before an audience, and to engage the audience in discussion of their
scripts, inviting the audience to participate in the exciting process of
developing new work. For local actors, who may not have the time to commit
to a fully staged production, the program provides an opportunity to fine
tune their talents on challenging new work.

Live musical accompaniment will be provided by Roxbury. The program is free
and open to the general public, and is held in the party room of the New
York Deli, where dinner fare, beverages, and desserts will be available from
their full menu.

Please check out this month's scripts on line and let us know if you are
interested in reading for us. Actors arrive between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.;
audience at 7 p.m. For more information or to participate in the program,
