On April 24, 2010, the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF) and the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) will host Nobel Peace Prize nominee, international humanitarian, spiritual leader and it’s founder, H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar(Sri Sri) at the BBH-MS Auditorium in Broadview Heights in a public talk from 6:30 – 8:30pm. It is with pleasure that I invite you to this event.

One of the most respected and multifaceted social activists of the 21st century, Sri Sri has inspired millions of people from all walks of life to lead a stress-free life, while adopting nonviolence and a sense of service to others. At a time when the global community finds itself in uncertainty and anxiety, Sri Sri offers a ray of hope. This is an unprecedented opportunity to meet His Holiness.

As an ambassador of peace, Sri Sri brings opposition groups together in dialogue, fostering conflict resolution in hot spots around the world. He recently addressed the 2nd Israeli Presidential Conference, advised on peace initiatives in Iraq at the invitation of P.M. Nouri al-Maliki, traveled as a mediator to Sri Lanka during the civil war at the request of President Mahinda Rajapakse, and mediated conflicts in Kashmir, Cameroon and South Africa.

As a spiritual leader, he was named the fifth most powerful person in India by Forbes magazine in 2009 due to his humanitarian work. His wisdom is universal, secular, and emphasizes meditation, compassion, and service to others and has inspired millions of people from all walks of life to lead a stress-free life. Bringing his transformative presence and message of peace, he is often invited to address prestigious international institutions such as the U.N. Millennium Peace Summit, the European Parliament, and the World Economic Forum.

As a humanitarian, his social initiatives address an array of issues such as environmental protection, women's empowerment programs, prisoner rehabilitation courses, and the opening of 86 schools in Africa and Asia. In the United States, his programs teach inner city youth how to manage negative emotions, resulting in profound transformations on the personal and social level. His trauma relief teams brought immense support to the victims of the Asian Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and in war torn regions such as In Kosovo, Pakistan and Lebanon.

We hope you will be able to attend. Please see the information below for details on attending.
