Transitions Alumni Share Job Tips to Getting Employed

 

Those out of work can pick up tips from people who recently re-entered
the workforce after being unemployed at the next meeting of Transitions
at 7 p.m., Monday, May 24 at the Entrepreneurship Innovation Center at
Lorain County Community College.

 

The Transitions alumni panel will share information on how they were
able to network, market themselves and gain new employment. Ample time
will be available for a question and answer session.

 

Transitions, a free networking group for area business professionals, is
sponsored by LCCC's Employment and Career Services Department. 

 

Transitions meetings feature short seminars on topics relevant to a
successful job search, the sharing of job leads and support, and
networking contacts.  The group meets the second and fourth Monday of
each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Room EIC 340 in the Entrepreneurship
Innovation Center (EIC) at Lorain County Community College.  The EIC is
located across the south parking lot from the Spitzer Conference Center.
