Leading Ladies has audiences in stitches at Coach House! Tickets going
fast...

In this hilarious show from Ken Ludwig, the award-winning author of Lend Me
A Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo, a pair of down-on-their-luck Shakespearean
actors learn of a dying old lady who plans to leave her fortune to two
long-lost English nephews. They decide to pass themselves off as her beloved
relatives, but when they learn the relatives aren't nephews, but nieces,
their plans change as drastically as their clothing!

"Coach House audiences love being in on the joke ... How could you not laugh
out loud watching a male character attempt to seduce a huge 'woman' in a
ridiculously ugly dress and wig, when we know that 'woman' is really a man
in drag?"

"Ludwig also offers plenty of witty wordplay, which actor Scott Shriner gets
to enjoy most as devilishly cunning Leo. ... (Jonathan) Fletcher also is
delightful as the put-upon friend who must go along with Leo's ruse. ...
Plenty of the play's humor is visual, especially Fletcher's great faces as
Jack in drag. ... Holly Humes is spot-on as ditzy Audrey and (Tom) Stephan
has the best putdowns as Doc. Maureen Guerin Johnson also is delightfully
grouchy as old Florence."

"This tale of finding love through mistaken identities also elicits
comparisons to the Tony-Curtis-Jack Lemmon movie Some Like It Hot."
