ABOUT THE CHARACTER:  
Male actor, need someone who can play 30s-40s.
RYAN (the character) is a nice guy, family friend to a family in crisis.
Need someone who is credible as the sensitive type to a woman and
child suffering through domestic violence, but also with the good
looks / attitude to be believable as a "guy who has it all" - money,
great looks, good family who might - under different circumstances -
have treated the woman very cavalier-ly as a lower-class nobody.
 
ABOUT THE PLAY
Intense Drama: A discharged American soldier returns from war to do violence upon his estranged son, who may not be his son at all. Set in the American Midwest, THEN WAVES explores the issues of violence’s echo, the cost of war, and the impulses toward destruction that ravage families and destroy the future.
