*Garfield Players*, which performs in the Garfield Heights Center for
Performing Arts at Garfield Heights High School, announces *OPEN
AUDITIONS*for their fall musical production

ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE.  *Director Jim Jarrell, Music Director Keith
Stiver, and Choreographer Jennifer Leinweber-Ritz are looking for musical
theatre performers ages 15 and up.

*AUDITIONS *will be held on *MONDAY JULY 26 *and *TUESDAY JULY 27, 2010, at
7PM *at the Garfield Heights Fire Station located at 5115 Turney Road,
Garfield Heights, OH, 44125.

*CALLBACKS* will be held on *WEDNESDAY JULY 28, 2010* (also at the Fire
Station)

There are principal roles available for 8 men and 5 women plus an additional
8-10 chorus/ensemble roles.

Those auditioning should come prepared to sing a song, with sheet music in
the appropriate key (*bring at least 32 bars*) and be prepared to learn a
short dance combination. *

Only those who need to be seen again will be asked to the callback. *

Those called back on Wednesday will be asked to read from the script, will
be taught musical selections from the score and may be asked to dance again.


*NOTE: Those ladies interested in auditioning for Janet or the
Chaperoneshould prepare a song that shows off their belter voice.
Gentlemen
interested in the role of the bridegroom should be able to tap dance. *

SHOW DATES:  Oct 29, 30, Nov 5, 6, 13 @ 8pm and Oct 31, Nov 7 and 14 @ 3pm *
