Audition Preparation: Please prepare a two-minute monologue.

TYRONE: Can be anywhere from mid 40s to mid 60s depending on the rest of the family casting. A strong presence, powerful voice, a "studied" appearance.

MARY: Similar in age to Tyrone, perhaps a bit younger.

JAMIE: A rake, 20s to early 30s. Sharp tongued, bitter but, in some ways, wiser than his parents.

EDMOND: 20s. Much like his brother, but a bit more delicate and tender hearted. Sickly, so ideally, on the thin side.

CATHLEEN: Teens to 20s. Very Irish, effusive, clever.

Weathervane Playhouse is committed to non-traditional casting.

Except in cases where age or disability is essential to the play,

all roles will be cast on the basis of talent.
