Dear Theatre Friends:

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Churg Strauss Syndrome (CSS), a rare and incurable form of vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels delivering blood to the organs).  I'm not able to do community theatre anymore, but I love to keep in touch with my fellow thespians and try to attend plays when I can.

I'm on the Churg Strauss Syndrome Association (CSSA) Board of Directors, and I am hoping to attend the American College of Rheumatology annual meeting in Atlanta this November.   This is an opportunity for me to interact with and educate thousands of doctors about the seriousness of CSS and the need to diagnose it earlier...thereby saving lives.  The CSSA operates on a shoestring, and I am struggling financially myself.  If anyone would like to help sponsor this trip for me, please send a small, tax deductible check (marked Atlanta) made out to CSSA, PO Box 671, Southampton MA 01073.  

Please don't feel obligated in any way...I just wanted to give you the chance to support this effort on behalf of all people with vasculitis.
