Was it Mrs. Peacock in the conservatory with the candlestick? Or Colonel Mustard in the ballroom with the lead pipe? Audiences of the Broadview Heights Spotlights' Clue: The Musical, will have to play the game to find out. At the beginning of each show, a volunteer from the audience will select the three iconic cards representing the murderous possibilities which are secretly placed in an envelope that remains on stage for the entire show. The talented cast must follow the variations in the carefully-constructed script to reveal the clues to the audience, who must keep track of the clues on the provided playing forms to decipher the murderer, room, and weapon. 216 possible endings exist, so no two shows are sure to be the same!

The show ran Off-Broadway at the Players Theatre in 1996, after a short run in Chicago and a world premiere in Baltimore. The book was written by Peter DePietro with music by Wayne Barker, Galen Blum, and Vinnie Martucci and lyrics by Tom Chiodo.

The Spotlights' production takes place in a modern-day Boddy Mansion, incorporating original high-tech design elements inspired by various versions of the board game. The show is directed and choreographed by Jenna Messina with music direction by Michael Seevers. Tim Anderson serves as producer and designer. The cast features Gilgamesh Tagget, Susan Wagner, Jacob Schaffer, Michelle Unger, Robert Catalano, Shane Stahl, Ron Young, and Pam Matthews.
