A few things to watch out for in your Neohiopal mail ...

*for SUBSCRIBERS...*

DIGEST DELIVERY
is now at 1:30pm. With the old system it was 9:00am.

AVOID LETTING NEOHIOPAL GET LABELED AS SPAM
If your Neohiopal mail occasionally goes into your spam folder, remember to
move it to your inbox before opening it or deleting it. If it stays in your
spam folder, then your email service labels it as spam and could eventually
block future postings from reaching your mailbox. Not only for you, but for
anyone who uses Neohiopal and uses your email service. It is likely that
this is how aol and yahoo delivery got blocked in the past.

*for POSTERS...*

POSTING ADDRESSES
Some people are having difficulty because their "auto fill" is putting in
the old posting address. So we have set up some other addresses that will
work to post. To post a message you can use neohiopal at neohiopal.org,
post at neohiopal.org or neohiopal at lists.neohiopal.org.

POSTING WITH GRAPHICS, ATTACHMENTS AND VIDEO
*No attachments, pictures or graphics.* Some people have their mailboxes set
to not accept attachments and we are wary of accidentally forwarding a
virus. If you want people to see pictures or be able to view a flyer, video
or attachment then you should set them up on a website and send out the link
with your message. Whether you use aol, yahoo, gmail, hotmail, microsoft
outlook or another program, the system will usually but not always translate
your text formatting (font, point size, centering, color, etc.) in the body
of the message.

POSTING TOO OFTEN
Post your message once a week at most. Trust that if people are interested
in your message they will notice it and respond.
