For immediate release:

The Drama Department of Miller South School will be hosting a Commedia 
dell'Arte Festival on Saturday, October 16^th . This festival is open to 
theatre students and practitioners from middle school thru college.

Three rounds of workshops will take place in the afternoon, starting at 
2 PM:

Make a Commedia Mask with Wendy S Duke. A quick and easy way to make a 
physical facial representation of your inner Zanni.

Commedia Mask Performance Techniques with Gale McNeeley

Create a Commedia Character based on your favorite Superhero with The 
Confused Greenies

After a dinner break, participants will see commedia performances by The 
Confused Greenies of Case Western Reserve, Italian trained Commedia 
Artist and Guest Teacher Gale McNeeley of Southern California and the 
Miller South Commedia Troupe.

Workshops from 2 -- 5 PM

Dinner Break from 5 - 6 PM

Performances from 6 -- 8 PM

Cost for the entire event: $15 for workshops, box dinner, and performances.

Miller South School for the Visual & Performing Arts is located at 1055 
East Ave in Akron Ohio. For group or individual registrations, contact 
drama director, Wendy S Duke by email or phone. Workshop registration is 
limited to 90 participants, and registration is on a first come first 
served basis. You need not take a workshop to attend the evening 
performances.
