*One Day Dance Workshop in Jazz, Ballet, Partnering and Lifts*
* “Give Yourself Over to the Dance”*
Ages: 6th grade - Adult
Instructor: Bebe Weinberg Katz
1 Session: Saturday, November 13, 2010, 10:00 – 1:30pm
OR
1 Session: Saturday, December 4, 2010, 10:00 – 1:30pm
(three hours of class / 30 minute lunch break at Noon)
Fee: $50 for each three hour class

Spend a day sweating and stretching and moving to the music.

 This three hour workshop is open to dancers, actors, singers and anyone
else who loves to move. It includes:  Basic ballet and jazz technique for
actors, floor barre for posture, alignment and flexibility, partnering and
lifts, repertoire, nutrition for dancers, actors and singers. Bring dance
clothes, jazz or ballet shoes, a towel, lots of water and a “healthy” lunch.

*Ages: 6th grade - Adult
Instructor: Bebe Weinberg Katz
1 Session: Saturday, November 20, 2010, 10:00am – 1:00pm
Fee: $50 for each three hour class

A dance audition doesn’t have to be a scary event!  This workshop is
designed to give you some inside tips on how to go into a dance audition
with confidence.  The workshop will include all the important basics -
Center floor work, traveling across the floor, combinations, ballet and jazz
moves that are sure to be used, leaps and turns and simple partner steps
will all be covered.  Also during this workshop attention will be paid to
alignment, posture and flexibility.   To ease the non dancer into the
audition process the workshop will cover dance terminology, dance class
etiquette, how to prepare, what to wear and hoe to “put your best foot
forward”.
