(November 1, 2010, Akron, Ohio . For Immediate Release) WEATHERVANE PLAYHOUSE presents it's annual holiday production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Weathervane Playhouse is pleased to announce eighteen performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway blockbuster. This season's production includes dozens of new costumes, new set pieces, beautifully executed choreography and a huge and talented cast!  Joseph has instant appeal for every audience, shimmering with elaborately staged production numbers and a score full of hits. Back by popular demand, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a Young Actor Series production on stage at Weathervane from Tuesday, November 23 ~ Sunday, December 19, 2010. Joseph is a rainbow ride through ancient Egypt on the wings of Andrew Lloyd Webber's uplifting music and the humor of lyricist Tim Rice. The musical tells the story of Joseph, a young man with a knack for having prophetic dreams. He incurs the jealousy of his brothers when his father gives him a magnificent colorful coat. The adventure that ensues tells an epic tale of biblical proportion!

Each performance will feature a local youth choir. The choirs participating this year are Miller South Performing Arts School, St. Francis deSales Elementary, Windemere Elementary, and a combined choir from National Inventor's Hall of Fame: Science Technology Engineering Math School and Ritzman Elementary Schools in Akron.

The production promises to be an entertaining and fun family production! Special weekday morning performances are available, along with regular public performances. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for youth under the age of 17. Group rates are also available.
