Actors Needed for "Proof"



Auditions for the G. B. Community Theatre production of "Proof" by David
Auburn and directed by Douglas Anderson will be held Sun. Dec. 5, 6 - 8
p.m., and Mon., Dec. 6, 7 - 9 p.m. at the Ashtabula Arts Center, 2928 West
13th St. in Ashtabula.

 "Proof," winner of the 2001 Pulitzer and Tony awards, tells a complex tale
centered on a young woman, Catherine, who has spent several years of caring
for her father, who had been both an intellectually brilliant mathematician
and insane. The play is set in the days immediately after his death and
includes flashbacks -- or maybe they're just in her mind? How much does
Catherine take after her genius but deranged parent?  The drama will play on
February 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 2011.

Actors will be needed for each of the four roles: "Robert" age 40-60,
"Catherine" age 23-32, "Claire" age 25-40 and "Hal" age 25-35. All readings
will be from the script.



Bring a list of conflicts of any days you can not rehearse.



Future auditions for "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" will be held
Sat., Jan. 8, And Sun., Jan. 9 from 2 - 4 p.m.
