AUDITIONS for 2 Musicals !!! 
Pippi Longstocking –Return to the Island & Snow Queen 
Please note the new dates: 
Auditions:  November 28th - December 14th 
  
Callbacks: December 15th - 19th 
  
I am looking for personality, ability to act and sing . Please respond only if you can seriously commit.  Auditions are open children  and teens ages 8-17.  Elementary, Middle and High school students are encouraged to apply. Ability to act and sing a must.  Please prepare 1 minute monologue and a song.

 Pippi Longstocking –Return to the Island 
Synopsis: Join Pippi Longstocking and her new adventures as she returns back to the island 2 years later. 
Pippi  Longstocking –a child of incredible strength. Must have a strong singing voice. Ages 12-13 y   
  
Annika - Pippi's best friend. Must have a good singing voice. Ages 10-13y 
  
Tommy- Pippi's best friend. Annika's brother. Ages 9-12y 
  
Jessica-friend of Pippi. Must have a good singing voice.  Ages 9-13y 
  
Megan- friend of Pippi. Must have a good singing voice ages. Ages 9-13 y 
  
Mother of Annika and Tommy- Ages 15-17 
  
2 Robbers- Ages 14-17 
  
Teacher - Must have a good singing voice. Ages 14-17 
  
Snow Queen- The New Version
Adaptation of H. C. Andersen story The Snow Queen 
Synopsis: The story of a young girl named Gerda who is forced to battle the evil snow queen in order to save the soul of her brother Kay. 
Story Teller – tells a story of a Snow Queen. Ages 10-13 
  
Kay- Gerda’s brother who falls victim to the ice splinters. Ages 9-12y 
Gerda-  Kay’s Sister, determined to save Kay from the Snow Queen- Ages 11-14y 
  
Snow Queen-  queen of the snowflakes or "snow bees", who travels throughout the world with the snow.  Must have a strong personality. Ages 13-16y 
  
Robber Maiden- tomboy,  captures and takes Gerda as her playmate. Ages 9-12y   
  
Woman with a Comb-wicket woman that has powers. Ages  13-16y 
  
Cat- must be able to portray a cat’s character and be able to walk and talk like that. Ages 9-12 
  
Rain Deer- Ages 13-15y 
  
Roses- fragrant flowers that are frozen by the Snow Queen. Ages 9-12y 
  
Princess- graceful and kind. She helps Gerda in her search for her brother Kay. Ages 10-13y 
  
  
Auditions:  November 28th - December 14th     ( please note new dates) 
  
Callbacks: December 15th - 19th 
  
Rehearsals start:  January  14th ( Lyndhurst area, call for directions)    
  
Performance: June 12, 2011  @ The Cleveland Play House
