WEDNESDAY: Ballet 3/4 (Teacher Recommended ONLY) - 4:30-5:55
Pointe 1 (Ages 12+ by Teacher Recommendation) - 6:00-6:30
Pointe 2 (Teacher Recommended ONLY) - 6:00-7:00
 
THURSDAY:  Dance With Me (Ages 18 mos. - 3 yrs.) -3:00 - 3:25
My First Dance Class (Ages 3-4) - 3:30 - 4:00
Modern 1 (Ages 6+) - 4:00-4:55
Jazz 1 (Ages 6+) - 5:00-5:55
Ballet 2 (Teacher Recommended ONLY) - 5:00 - 5:55
                     Ballet 1 (Ages 7+) - 6:00 - 6:55
Adult Musical Theater - This course focuses on making a performer out of its 
students by teaching popular musical numbers from an American Musical Theatre 
repertoire.  From Fosse to Robbins, students will receive the history of each 
musical number they perform as well as proper technique to shine like a star! 
 The class will culminate in an ending review performance - 6:00 - 6:55

FRIDAY:  Lyrical 1 (Ages 9-15) - 5:30-6:25
Tap 1 (All Ages) - 6:30-7:25
Lyrical 2 (Ages 16+ with prior ballet experience or Teacher Recommendation) -

Tap 2 (Teacher Recommended ONLY) - 8:30-9:25
               
SATURDAY:  Pre-Ballet (Ages 5-6) - 10:00-10:45
Hip Hop 1 (Ages 6+) - 10:00-10:55
Musical Theater for Children (Ages 6-12) - see description under Adult Musical 
Theater, above - 10:00-10:55
Hip Hop 2 (Ages 13+ or by Teacher Recommendation) - 11:00-11:55
Acting 101 (Ages 7-12) - 8 week intensive course covering basic acting for the 
stage (Jan. 15-Mar. 5) - 11:00-11:55
                     Contact Improvisation 1 (6th-8th Grade) - A meditative and 
 almost dream-like form of dance focusing on silent communication between two or 
more people using physical contact, gravity, and momentum. (Mar. 12-Apr. 30) - 
11:00-11:55
My First Dance Class (Ages 3-4) - 12:00 - 12:30
Acting 102 (Ages 13-18) - 8 week intensive course for individuals looking to 
refine their acting techniques (Jan. 15-Mar. 5) - 12:00-12:55
Contact Improvisation 1 (9th-12th Grade, Adults welcome) - see description, 
above.  (Mar. 12-Apr. 30) - 12:00-12:55
 
Olmsted Performing Arts offers classes in dance, theater and voice, including 
contemporary acting, stage combat, audition readiness, vocal technique, and 
sight singing. 
All classes are held at the Olmsted Community Center,
8170 Mapleway Drive, Olmsted Falls.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR
 
March 13 - Audtions for the 2011 Disney Dance Company will be held on March 6, 
2011 from 4-7 p.m.  Rehearsals will begin in April.  The performance season will 
run June through October, and will culminate with a 6 night, 7 day trip to Walt 
Disney World in October.  NOTE:  In order to audition for the Dance Company, a 
dancer MUST be enrolled in a Ballet Class through Olmsted Performing Arts for 
the entire 2011 year.  Parents of all accepted dancers will have a mandatory 
Parent Meeting on Monday, April 7, 2011 from 7-9 pm at the Olmsted Community 
Center.
