Looking to sell my violin bearing the following label:

A Schroeter

Geigenbaumeister

Mittenwald/Bayern

MADE IN GERMANY

 *VIOLIN DESCRIPTION*

The top is carved from two pieces of spruce with narrow spaced grain lines
at the center seam and wider grain lines toward the flanks.  The back is
made of two pieces of maple with a medium spaced curl running perpendicular
to the center seam and very wide grain lines.  The sides are maple matching
the back and the scroll is carved from unfigured maple.  The varnish is
reddish-brown in color and shaded.  The *condition of the violin is very
good.*

Middle Bout – 118

Lower Bout – 211

Stop – 193



*BOW DESCRIPTION*

The bow is round and is carved from Brazilwood.  The frog is ebony with
chrome trimmings and mother-of-pearl dots.  The button is divided chrome
over ebony.  The weight of the bow is 63.8 grams and the length of the bow
is 743mm from the tip to the end of the button.  *The bow is not stamped.  The
condition is very good.  *

Appraisal of instrument and bow was done by Terry CarlinViolins in 2007.  Terry
is also the person who restored the violin to its present beauty.
