Brecksville Theater On The Square will kick off its 37th season in this historic Brecksville Bicentennial year of 2011 with A Nightmare of Crime, A Holocaust Story, running Februaury 25-27 and March 4-6.

This original production, conceptualized, written and directed by Baldwin-Wallace College drama professor Dr. Jack B. Winget, is a multi-media docudrama based on Sonderkommando, Jewish prosoners who were forced to aid in the extermination of their comrades-sometimes their own families-and then were themselves sent to the gas chambers. The story is being told to help ensure that such horrors will never be repeated.

Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, with Sunday matinees at 2:00. Tickets are $12, $10 for seniors and students through high school. The evening will conclude with guest speakers and talk-back sessions where the audience may directly interact with Holocaust survivors and/or their liberators. All performances will be held at the historic Old Twon Hall Theater on Brecksville's Public Square, at the corner of State Routes 21 & 82. The theater is handicapped accessible.

For tickets and further infromation regarding this show please call (440)526-3443 or check the BTOTS website at www.btots.org. Tickets may be directly ordered online.
