FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Auditions for Rabbit Run Theater's 2011 Summer
Season

Audition information is now available for the 2011 summer season at Rabbit
Run Theater in Madison, Ohio. The productions for the summer are Tintypes,
Doubt, a Parable, Urinetown (Young Adult Production), Chicago, the Musical
and Lend Me a Tenor.

Tintypes, book by Mary Kyte, Mel Marvin and Gary Pearle with music and
lyrics by various composers, runs from June 3 to June 11. This nostalgic
and delightful revue takes the audience back to turn of the century America
when the slow-paced days of ice cream socials were giving way to automobiles
and electricity. Showcasing the music of the times, Tintypes takes a look
at America when optimism and ingenuity ran high.

Sandy Kosovich Peck is directing Tintypes with Ed Leonard serving as the
musical director. Five roles are available with two men and three women,
ages 18 to 50. The role of Susanna is pre-cast.

Auditions are Saturday, Mar. 26, and Sunday, Mar. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. both
days. Actors should prepare to sing 16 measures of a Broadway style song
and dress comfortably for movement.

Doubt, a Parable, by John Patrick Shanley, opens Friday, June 17, and closes
Saturday, June 25. Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for
Best Play, Doubt, A Parable, is a potent drama eliciting poignant questions
concerning moral certainty centered around a Catholic priest's questionable
behavior in 1964.

The show is directed by Ann Hedger. Available roles include one male, ages
35 to 45, and three women, ages 18 to 65. Actors auditioning should come
prepared to read from the script. Monologues are not required.

Auditions for Doubt are Saturday, Apr. 9, and Sunday, Apr. 10, from 1 to 4
p.m.

The Young Adult production, Urinetown, with music by Mark Hollman, lyrics by
Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis, and book by Greg Kotis, runs from July 1
through July 9. A humorous and witty musical, Urinetown is a tale of
corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in
gold. Due to a 20-year drought city officials ban private toilets forcing
citizens to use public restrooms regulated by a malevolent company who
charges too much for one of life's basic necessities. A hero emerges and
love and revolution ensue!

Scott Posey is directing Urinetown with Eddie Carney as musical director.
Multiple roles are available for youth ages 14 to 21. Actors auditioning
should prepare two contrasting songs in Broadway style music with sheet
music in a binder. If possible, actors should bring a resume and headshot.

Auditions for Urinetown are Saturday, Apr. 9, and Sunday, Apr. 10, from 2 to
5 p.m.

Chicago, the Musical, book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander
and lyrics by Fred Ebb, opens July 15 and runs through July 31. Winner of
six Tony Awards, Chicago, set in the roaring 20's is a dazzling, fast-paced
satire. Chicago chorine Roxie Hart is convicted of murdering a lover and
sent to death row. She and fellow "Merry Murderess" Velma Kelly, vie for
the spotlight and the headlines, only to join forces in search of the
"American Dream" of fame, fortune and acquittal.

Direction is by Brint Learned, and musical direction is by Chris Bott.
Multiple roles are available for men and women ages 18 to 50 with most roles
requiring dancing. Actors should prepare to sing 16 measures of a Broadway
style song. Please bring sheet music and dress appropriately for movement.

Auditions for Chicago are Saturday, Mar. 26, and Sunday, Mar. 27, from 2 to
5 p.m.

Lend Me a Tenor, by Ken Ludwig runs from Aug. 12 through Aug. 28. In 1934
world famous tenor, Tito Morelli, is to perform Otello, his greatest role
ever, at the Cleveland Grand Opera Company. On opening night, however,
Morelli arrives intoxicated. Through a hilarious maze of mishaps,
tranquilizers, mistaken identities and love triangles this uproariously
funny story spins out of control onstage and off.

Janet Shank is directing Lend Me a Tenor. Available roles include four men,
ages 15 to 60 and four women, ages 18 to 55. Actors should come prepared to
