[NEohioPAL] SUMMER DIRECTOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN AMHERST

The Sandstone Summer Theatre located in Amherst, OH is currently advertising
for several Director positions for the 2011 summer performances.  Sandstone
performs three full length plays for three age groups.  All plays are
performed in the Amherst Steele High School cafetorium located on Washington
St.

Positions available:

SANDSTONE - age group is from 15 years and up through adults, rehearsals
begin June 13, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM with performances July 21 - 23,
2011.  The play is All Shook Up, featuring the songs of Elvis Presley.

Music Director - organize and rehearse with an appropriate size orchestra
for the play.  If  you have vocal experience the opportunity might exist to
also perform the functions of the Chorale Director.

Chorale Director - warm up the cast on vocals, and work with them throughout
the rehearsal period on the songs.

APPRENTICES - age group 12 to 14 years old, will be performing Alice in
Wonderland Jr. Rehearsals begin June 27, 2011 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with
performances July 29 and 30, 2011.

SUNSHINE COMPANY - age group 8 - 11 years old, will be performing Pied Piper
the Musical.  Rehearsals begin June 27, 2011 from 9:30 to 11:30 with
performances July 29 and 30, 2011.

Technical Director - responsible to work with the Director and the technical
crew in building simple sets and props for both plays.

Associate Producer - supervise all rehearsals, and work closely with staff
and board members to ensure both plays are well executed..

The salary for all positions is commensurate with past experience.
