It's a tale as old as time and it is coming to the Nordonia High School
stage this April.
The Nordonia Drama Club will present their production of Disney's *Beauty
and the Beast* April 14th through the 17th.

In the classic story, a handsome prince with a cold heart is transformed
into a hideous beast by a magical enchantress who places a spell on him and
all who live in his castle. The only way to break the spell is for someone
to fall in love with the Beast. In a local village, the lovely but "odd"
Belle is busy thwarting the advances of the egotistical Gaston. When her
father, lost in the forest, stumbles upon the Beast's castle, he is taken
captive. Belle, discovering what has happened, offers to take her father's
place and becomes the Beast's prisoner. As the story unfolds, Belle is able
to look past the Beast's gruff exterior and see him for who he truly is
while the Beast rediscovers how to speak from his heart. This production is
filled with Disney magic from beginning to end. Whether in the elaborate
costumes, the award winning songs, or the whacky and fun characters we all
know and love, this year's show is sure to entertain.

Directing this year's production of *Beauty and the Beast* is Molly Sawyer
and Assistant Director Chris Simmons. Jacklyn Czekaj and Leah Sefcik return
to choreograph this year's musical while John Pickering and Vicki Lester
serve as Vocal Directors. The production boasts a cast of approximately 55
students with another 60 students or so working on crews or playing in the
pit orchestra. All in all, about 120 students from the high school are
involved in the show.

The dates and times of *Beauty and the Beast* are:
Thursday, April 14th at 7 PM
Friday, April 15th at 8 PM
Saturday, April 16th at 8 PM
Sunday, April 17th at 2 PM
** The Sunday matinee will be Dress like a Disney princess day! Prizes will
be awarded!!!*

Ticket prices are: $6 for Students, $8 for Senior Citizens, and $10 for
Adults. Tickets can be reserved by calling 330.908.6199, extension 585323
