The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival Announces:  
Auditionsfor our 14th Season -- Othello and Love’s Labour’s Lost
 
The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Cleveland’s only source for FREE, outdoor 
Shakespearean theater, proudly announces auditions for its 14th Season. This 
season, CSF will be presenting William Shakespeare’sOthello, directed by Aaron 
D. Elersich and Love’s Labour’s Lost, with a guest director to be announced. The 
shows will run in repertory, weekends, from June 17th to August 7th at various 
outdoor venues throughout Northeast Ohio.
  
The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to bringing plays of 
professional quality to audiences in the Greater Cleveland area as a way of 
encouraging community through theater. 

For thirteen years, CSF has brought the wisdom and poetry of William Shakespeare 
to over 35,000 peoplein multiple publicly accessible locations throughout 
Northeastern Ohio. CSF is thrilled to continue that tradition this season. 

 
Open call auditions and callbacks for The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s 14th 
season will take place atCSF’s home office:

Lake Erie Building (old Lakewood Screw Factory)

13000 Athens Avenue
Cleveland, OH 44107
 
Saturday, April 2, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and
Sunday, April 3, 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm
            

Callbacks will be:
Monday, April 4, 5:00 to 9:00 pm and
Tuesday, April 5, 5:00 to 9:00 pm

There are no AEA contracts available for this summer season, however all actors 
and production staff will be paid a stipend.

Please come prepared with a current resume and headshot, as well as two 
contrasting monologues not to exceed 5 minutes in length combined, at least one 
of which must be taken from the works of William Shakespeare. Cuttings are 
acceptable.
