ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS FOR /DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER/ 

Bernard is planning a weekend with his mistress. He has hired a gourmet cook, is packing his wife Jacqueline off to her mother's, and has invited his best friend, Robert, to provide an alibi. It is foolproof. What could possibly go wrong? Suppose Robert doesn't know why he has been invited? Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers? What happens if the cook is mistaken for the mistress and the mistress can't cook? Mix these ingredients at high heat for an evening of hilarious confusion! 

AUDITION DATES: 

Tuesday April 5th at 7:30 PM
Wednesday April 6th at 7:30 PM
Auditions will be held at CVLT, 40 River Street in Chagrin Falls[1]  

SHOW DATES:

JUNE 5 - 25, 2011
Fridays/Saturdays at 8 PM 

Directed by Barbara L. Rhoades   

DETAILS:

  * The cast of 6 includes: 

  *  Bernard
  * Jacqueline - his wife
  * Robert - his friend
  * Suzanne - his mistress
  * Suzette - the cook
  * Suzette's husband, George. 

  * Ages range from mid 30's to 60. 
  * This is a British comedy set some distance from France. British dialect is essential but Suzette and her husband George may be played as French; that has yet to be determined. 
  * Headshots and acting resumes are welcome, but not required. 
  * We will be reading scenes from the script.
