Spring into Films at Stocker Arts Center!

Friday - April 1 - 7:30om
THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNET'S NEST
This is the final Swedish film of the MILLENNIUM trilogy. Lisbeth
Salander is in critical condition fighting for her life after a bullet
wound to her head. If she recovers, she'll be taken to Stockholm to
stand trial for three murders.

Friday - April 15 - 7:30pm
KAWASAKI'S ROSE
A drama that considers how the past informs the present, especially in
societies where secrets are a way of life and success can depend on a
single well-placed piece of information, true or false. A discussion
with LCCC Film Society Director Bob Dudash will follow the film.

Friday - April 22 - 7:30pm
BLACK SWAN
A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet. Nina
has a new rival in the company and as they expand into a twisted
friendship, Nina gets in touch with her dark side. Natalie Portman won
the Oscar for her portrayal of Nina.

Yearly Film Society Membership - $3 each (required one-time expense good
through April 22, 2011, the end of the 2010-2011 Film series).  Film
tickets are $5 each.
