open call. tuesday april 19th starting at 5:30pm. kent state university main
campus engleman hall. 175 terrace drive kent ohio 44243. this is UNPAID.
bring headshot, resume and prepare a dramatic monologue. you may also read
from the script.shooting over the summer so you must have open summer
availability. also some characters may be used to shoot our second movie,
also over the summer. a movie treatment is being worked on, but here is the
character list so far. at the audition you will need let in the building so
take my number 330.801.0370

"INTO ASHES"

ELODY: female, 17. pretty but obviously different. Very inquisitive and
honest. She enjoys nature and the open air. She struggles with knowing who
she is and where she belongs.

JUDE: male, 18. handsome but not in the normal way. average build. He has
only been in town a year and lives with his mom. He has an interest in music
and is generally a friendly person. His only close friend is Elody since
they both moved there around the same time. He is protective of Elody even
though he doesnt always understand her. He is left home alone a lot because
his mom works for the medical lab in town.

MELINDA: The doctor's wife, late 30's. She is Elody's caretaker. She looks
after Elody's well being and tries to keep her healthy and in line. She is
strict with Elody and aloof because she cannot handle the loss of her
daughter.

JOHN: the doctor, early 40's. This doctor is the one in charge of the
project from the medical lab and is in constant contact with Melinda. He
leads the team of scientists.

DOCTOR #2: male, russian/serbian. This doctor is in his late 40's and is
added intot he equation for his specialization in cloning and DNA
manipulation. He has no issues about being unethical in his search for
success.
