Actress Yin Chang to attend 2011 Cleveland Asian Festival on May 21-22, 2011

 

Actress Yin Chang, as "Mei Kwan" in Walt Disney's new movie PROM, will be
attending 2011 Cleveland Asian Festival. Chang will be doing meet and greet
as part of one of the vendor, The Event.  For the complete list of

Aside from her movie, she is most recognized for her role as 'Nelly Yuki' on
CW's Gossip Girl. Chang has also appeared on NBC's Law & Order: SVU and Law
& Order: Criminal Intent and ABC's Six Degrees. Additionally, you can catch
her as a guest star in NBC's new upcoming show Love Bites. Currently, Chang
is set to star in Lifetime's new original movie.

 

Chang is featured in several publications, such as Variety and a spread in
Seventeen. She was selected by NYLON Magazine as one of the 45 Young
Hollywood stars of the next generation. Hudson Jeans noted Chang as one of
the 14 rising young stars of the "Young Hollywood Generation". Mochi
Magazine ranked her third out of the 25 prominent young Asian American
influences under 25. Chang has also been featured on popular media outlets
with the likes of E! News and AOL's Cambio News.

 

Chang, born and raised in New York, is the eldest of three daughters. She is
of Taiwanese and Chinese, Malaysian ancestry.

 

About Cleveland Asian Festival: The second annual Cleveland Asian Festival
will be held on Saturday and Sunday (May 21-22, 2011) in Cleveland's
AsiaTown neighborhood at the Asia Plaza shopping center and surrounding
streets (2999 Payne Avenue and East 30th Street). The Cleveland Asian
Festival is a collaborative effort by many organizations and communities in
Greater Cleveland. It is coordinated by volunteer leaders within the Asian
Pacific communities to foster, educate, and promote Asian culture and
traditions, while celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. More
