Ashland University Department of Theatre seeks applicants for one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Costume Design, beginning August 2011.  Primary responsibilities include: teaching courses in Costume Design, Costume Technology and Theatre Aesthetics; function as Costume Designer and Costume Studio Manager for 4 show theatre season, supervise costumes for Madrigal Feaste and supervise student designers. The position requires the ability to design and execute designs.  The candidate should have demonstrated commitment to teaching and be able to show evidence of teaching effectiveness.  MFA required and professional experience desirable.
