[NEohioPAL] JOB OPPORTUNITY: Individual and Major Gifts Director - Cleveland Play House

An opportunity exists to join the staff of Cleveland Play House, a landmark
regional theatre in the midst of a multi-million-dollar capital campaign and
a move to a new multi-venue home in Downtown Cleveland.  

 

This position will have day-to-day responsibility for CPH's individual and
major gifts fundraising efforts, and will work collaboratively with CPH
leadership and the Development team to expand individual giving, creating
strategies for both short-term (annual fund) and long-term (campaign)
fundraising initiatives.

 

Candidates must possess a thorough knowledge of and proven (verifiable)
success in securing major and planned gifts, with a minimum of five years'
such experience.  

 

Other core requirements:

.         Demonstrated management and leadership skills

.         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

.         Excellent planning and organizational skills

.         Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure

.         Self-initiator and also a good team-player

.         Proficiency with Word, Excel and fundraising databases (e.g.,
Paciolan, Raiser's Edge, Tessitura)

 

A background in the arts or in arts organizations is preferred.
